- SacRT has the lowest crime rates in the industry compared to peers with only a .0007% crime rate per trip. Crime rate dropped 28% from 2016 to 2017, and another 18% from 2017 to 2018
- We hired over 70 transit agents to enforce fare and report incidents
- Light rail fare evasion rate dropped from 20% in 2016 to below 4% today

- Launched a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) that monitors cameras in real-time
- Enforce a Paid Fare Zone at every light rail station
- Implemented a new public address (P.A.) system to quickly address nuisance behavior at every light rail station
- Completed a system-wide station improvement plan where we invested $8 million for increased lighting and safety provisions
- Buses, trains, stations and stops are cleaned daily
- Successfully launched Re-Imagine Watt/I-80 Station to identify improvements that could increase security and safety
