Did you know that fossil-fuel transportation is the single biggest source of air pollution in California? On Clean Air Day, help clear the air by trying an alternative form of travel. Leave the car at home and try transit for free! In doing so you may realize that public transit can improve your daily commute.  

SacRT is offering free rides on fixed-route bus and light rail on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in celebration of California Clean Air Day.  This includes bus service in Elk Grove and Folsom.

The Coalition for Clean Air started California Clean Air Day seven years ago as an effort to improve air quality and protect public health.
