Rider Stories
Celebrating a Millionth Milestone
We recently celebrated a major milestone at SacRT GO Paratransit services by welcoming our one-millionth passenger, Susan Kenney. With a warm reception, we proudly acknowledged Susan as she exemplified the spirit of our community. She said, 'Thank you very much! I'm going to use all 60 rides! I usually do!'
Wedding Day Journey
On his wedding day, Ansel Lundberg and his groomsmen chose SacRT for a memorable journey to the venue. Dressed sharply and surrounded by friends, they enjoyed the light rail's convenience, even outpacing some guests who drove. Ansel's regular use of SacRT added a personal touch to his special day, making it not only practical but also enjoyable. "It was convenient and fun. And, we beat some of the people who drove!"
A Grandmother's Gratitude
SacRT received a heartfelt thank-you note in Spanish from a grandmother, expressing her gratitude for the transportation service that ensures her granddaughter can attend school daily. This service has been instrumental in her granddaughter's ability to graduate from high school on time. Mil gracias por su servicio,” she wrote, “pues gracias a ello mi nieta se graduará en tiempo de su high school,” she shared.
